About VAST-AI-Research/TripoSR

The official release of TripoSR: Fast 3D Object Reconstruction from a Single Image (Tochilkin et al., VAST AI Research & Stability AI, 2024). See the paper page for context.

TripoSR is a feed-forward Large Reconstruction Model (LRM) variant: a transformer encoder maps a single image to a triplane representation that is rendered with volume rendering in under a second on a consumer GPU. It is the open-weights answer to the closed LRM paper also in the corpus, and is widely used as a comparison baseline by LGM and Instant3D. Mirrored under MIT — README only.
